HARVEST GARDEN EXCLUSIVE TO VILLAGE FABRICS Measuring 70” x 82” the programme will run for 14 months. The pattern includes excellent large photos of each block on 11 x 17 paper along with full sized layouts. Background fabrics will be tone on tone subtle contrasting small prints as shown along with the colourful palette of flowers, birds, bird-houses, bath, wheelbarrow, gourds, pumpkins, baths, watering cans, spades and hoes - everything that goes into creating a wonderful garden. THE NEEDLEWOMEN'S COTTAGE
This beautiful free-standing embroidered cottage is a work of art on its own. It doubles as an exquisite workbox, holding all your embroidery necessities for your current project.

A sweet crinoline lady tends her garden outside her cottage. Turn the cottage round, and you will see her pretty front door, welcoming you to her home.
Simple embroidery stitches are used in this project, in combinations that make the finished piece look more difficult than it really is. Pattern includes iron-on transfers for the embroidery designs PLUS pattern for tracing the design if you wish to use that method.

Take the plunge and give yourself a project for the next few months and create an embroidered artwork that will give you pleasure for years to come.

we are about to start this exquisite quilt as a block of the month AS A MAILOUT PROGRAMME AND WORKSHOP CLASSES AT VILLAGE FABRICS.
In our workshops, meeting ONCE A MONTH for half a day on Saturday afternoons, you will learn various methods while creating each block.

These techniques will include: * needle turn, * bias stems, * ruffled flowers, * padded flowers, * weaving on baskets, etc. These techniques are make an exceptional effect on some of the blocks, rather than a “flat” background all through. Our tutor, Fran, is one of the most competent and experienced needleworker’s I have met and I am sure with her tutorage and your time, you will leave your workshops with a very different Baltimore quilt.

In our quilt, we will use soft palettes of pinks, greens, blues, golds, beiges, lilacs, soft greys – all blending perfectly well. Each block measures approx. 14” plus sashings and borders. Just look at the beautiful top border and the sashings between the blocks – a true heirloom and treasure for your future. We will use a soft tone on tone ecru colour with small tone on tone patterns.

Costing’s: There are 14 patterns in this beautiful quilt, measuring 75” x 92” .

MY WALK IN MELBOURNE Quilt, measures 79” x 79”. We will be using stunning metallic golds, lilac and purple, soft sage greens, burgundy, pale blue, and creams on a beautiful tone on tone black. 15 month programme – first month $80.00, followed by 14 months at $24.00 per month + post and packaging OR First month $100.00, followed by 7 months at $42.00 + post and packaging . (please advise which time frame you would prefer when making your reservation)

A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS
Vintage Christmas Block of the Month makes celebrating Christmas joyful. Make an heirloom quilt you will treasure every year. You will receive the pattern and fabric to complete each month's block PLUS border and binding fabrics for finishing the quilt. The Vintage Christmas Block of the Month includes the pattern to complete the quilt as well as the fabric for the quilt top and binding.
We will use pretty pinks, burgundy’s, soft greens in floral’s, dots and soft tone on tone backgrounds in our quilt.
Finished size is 53" x 55."

USING THE GORGEOUS FABRICS“GLACE” by 3 SISTERS FROM MODA – these beautiful soft colours of cranberrys, reds, greens, creams with patterns of hollies, berries, acorns, birds, buds and open flowers along with toile and paisleys, florals and tone on tone make this range not only a beautiful Christmas range, but can be used all through the year.
YOU WILL RECEIVE these beautiful Glace fabrics and each block will be a traditionally pieced design with our very own finishing kit. Our finishing kit for the borders is guaranteed to be very smart. Included in the price will be all fabrics (and patterns) to make entire quilt top, borders and bindings.
Here is a “sneak” preview of two of the blocks …. (a great beginner’s project too !)

OVER 12 MONTHS – QUILT SIZE APPROX 48” x 60”. COSTINGS $25.00 per month includes all fabrics to complete quilt top, borders and bindings and patterns plus P & P.

This beautiful sample is sitting in the shop if you can pop in to look it over.
The programme runs for 12 months, and each month you will receive your 28 count Cashel linen, threads and original patterns (from Cameo Designs, Rotorua, New Zealand).
Here are some of the “pages” for you to look over, to give you a good idea of what this beautiful design offers.

If you should want to make one large sampler (approx. 18” x 24”) just let us know and we will cut the one piece of 28 count linen for you.
If you choose this option, your first month costing will be $48.00, followed by 11 months at $11.00 + post and packaging.

Each block measures 6” square. On the final month you will receive your finishing instructions to finish your “sampler book”. Costings: $14.00 each month + post and packaging.
